Even as a young student at the University of Applied Sciences in Furtwangen (Germany), where I successfully completed my studies in precision engineering, I was fascinated by this ingenious CURTA calculating machine.

After working for over 15 years as a development engineer at renowned watch companies (including Glashütte Original, A. Lange & Söhne, Vulcain, and Martin Braun), I established my own watch workshop in 2015.

2018 – Registration of trademark rights by M. Schneider Watch Workshop

2018 – 2020 Development of the CURTA watch

2020 – 2021 Production of the first CURTA watch prototypes in the in-house workshop

2022 – Release of the first limited edition of the CURTA watch (75 pieces) in aluminum

2023 – Release of the “CURTA Calendar” in stainless steel and three color variants
